J.L. Amos: The Short Story Because you might not have time for a longer one.
J.L. Amos is an author of speculative fiction, general strangeness, and sometimes humor. Her poetry has been published in The Penmen Review and The Literary Yard, and she’s spent the last six years judging for the NYC Midnight creative writing competitions. That time was also dedicated to her MFA studies at Southern New Hampshire University, from which she graduated with honors. Like many Pacific Northwesterners, she loves the outdoors and finds magic in the creep of the fog and roar of the wind. Her favorite reading spot is on the coast, even if it’s raining.
